Who We Are

The Partnership for Central America is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organization that works with a multi-national coalition of private organizations to advance economic opportunity across underserved populations in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. The Partnership serves as a coordinating body of Vice President Harris’s Central America Forward initiative and aims to facilitate and support practical solutions to advance economic opportunity, address urgent climate, education and health challenges, and promote long-term investments and workforce capability in support of a vision of hope for Central America.

Mission

Our mission is to sustainably address the root causes of migration from northern Central America by advancing economic opportunities in support of a vision of hope for the region. To achieve this, PCA serves as a mobilizer and convenor of foreign direct investment and social impact investment to (1) create one million new jobs and (2) facilitate the enabling environment for those investments through seven multidimensional pillars, including financial inclusion, digital access, gender equity, job skilling, access to capital, infrastructure, and rule of law.

Vision

We seek a future in which families and communities in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador live safely and have access to opportunity.  Basic needs - jobs, education, digital and financial access, and infrastructure - are met, and individuals have hope for a better life in their homeland.

Values

The Partnership for Central America is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and empowerment across our organization and social impact work.
