Gabriel Sánchez Zinny

Gabriel Sánchez Zinny is the Managing Director at Blue Star Strategies, LLC. He is also a senior advisor to the CSIS Project on Prosperity and Development, a member of the Inter-American Dialogue program on Innovation and Technology in Education.

Throughout his career, he has published numerous articles related to education and public policies. He is the author and co-author of several books, including Sin Trabajo. El empleo en América Latina entre la pobreza, la educación, el cambio tecnológico y la pandemia (2021); Educación: Lo Que No Nos Cuentan (2020); Education 3.0: the battle for talent in Latin America (2015); Education and New Technologies: Fashion or Cultural Change? (2001), and The Protagonist School (1998).

He served as Minister of Education of the Province of Buenos Aires (2017-2019).

He held the position of Executive Director of the Assessment Unit of Educational Quality of the City of Buenos Aires (2019-2021), has been the Coordinator of Health Policies of the Province of Buenos Aires (2017), and the Executive Director of the National Institute of Technological Education (2015).

He co-founded two social impact initiatives: Edunexo and Kuepa, working on the introduction of technologies in educational systems.

He graduated as Economist from the University of San Andrés and completed a Master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
